Application are invited for the Post of Lieutenant in Indian Army (NCC Special Entry Scheme 32nd Course Oct 2012) Short Service Commission (Non Technical) for Men and Women

No. of Post: (a): NCC MEN: 50 (45 for Gen Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualities of Army Only)
(b): 08 (10% each of vacancies for Men and Women are reserved for wards of battle Casuality of Army).
Age Limit: For Ncc Candidates: 19-25 years.
Qualification: (For NCC "C" Certificate Holders): Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in third year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two years. Such Students will need to secure overall agreegate of minimum 50% marks if selected in Interview failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

Service in Ncc: Candidates should be served for minimum two academic years in teh Senior Division/Wing of N.C.C.

Grading: Candidates should have obtained minimum of "B" Grade in "C" Certificate Exam of NCC.

For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personal: Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of Minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.

NCC "C" certificate not required.

Entitlement for Travelling Allowance: Candidates appearing for SSB Interview for the first tiem for the same entry shall be entitled for AC III Tier to and fro railway fare of bus fare including reservation-Cum-Sleeper charges within the Indian Limits.

Cost to Company (CTC): the CTC for a Lieutenant would be approximately Rs 63725/- per month. This includes Basic Pay, DA, Grade Pay, Military Services Pay, House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance. These rates are not statutory and are subject to change.

Leave Entitlements: On commission, officers are entitled to 60 days annual and 20 days casual leave every year. They are also entitled for 40% rail concession to any place and free travel for self and family.

Stipend/Pay during training at OTA (Officer Training Academy): During the period of training the candidates will be given a stipend or Rs 21,000/- p.m. On completion of training, Officers are commissioned as Lt. and entitled to the pay scale.

How to Approach us: (a): Applications should be posted to the nearest OC, NCC Unit form where NCC "C" Certificate has been issued.
(b): Applications of Candidates serving in teh Armed Forces duly counter signed by Commanding Officer should be sent to the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC "C" certificate has been issued and advance copy be sent directo DG NCC, West Block-IV, RK Pura, New Delhi-110066.
(d): All NCC Units will forward the applications to DDG, NCC of the concerned State,
(e): Additional Direcrorate Deneral of Recruiting, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence Army, reserves the right to shortlist applications on the basis of grade obtained by the candidates in NCC "C" certificate examination/percentage of marks in degree examinations.
